Arm Lift (Brachioplasty)
Upper arm lift or brachioplasty is an operation performed commonly on massive weight loss patients for a lot of fullness that patients may get or bat weight from the underserved of the arm. The operation consists of liposuction and an excisional skin procedure that consists of a scar from the elbow that can extend all the way to the axilla.

In order to address the arm circumferentially. It's very important to know that the scars can be unsightly, especially with massive weight loss patients and have to counsel the patient that we're trading contours of the upper arm for a scar, it's performed in an operating room under general anesthesia.

Takes about an hour and a half time and the patient may need to wear a hat, wear an ace wrap or compression garment for up to six weeks after surgery in order to help with some of the swelling. It's a very, very high satisfaction procedure for that difficult area, and we'd love to discuss more consultation with you.
