Farkas Plastic Surgery& Medspa offers a unique multi-modality approach to the prevention and treatment of scars. Scars are all unique in nature and can be improved with multiple different treatment options all of which are offered at the center. Surgical scars, acne scars, or traumatic scars all can be improved. Scars continue to improve for 1-2 years following skin injury and continue to remodel over that time. Treatment is generally initiated 6 months to 1 year following injury depending on the scar appearance and maturity. Treatment options may include:
