The procedure requires drawing approximately 30ml of your own blood and processed to retrieve the PRP for direct injection to the hair loss areas. Multiple injections are performed over the entire treatment area. Treatments are divided once a month for four months and then an addition 2-4 treatments every six months depending on hair growth and goals. There is no downtime or recovery involved. Treatments are spaced out to recruit hair growth over the entire growth cycle of the hair follicles. Dr. Farkas will go over further details during your in office consultation.
